Fragmented lists make it difficult to align your budget and style. With Digy, automate your list creation and refine it with expert recommendations—all in one intelligent platform.
In just 3 clicks you can know the cost of your building. Moreover with each customization you make to the materials template, the costing is also updated instantly. All this means is that you can also control the Guaranteed Maximum Price of your project.
In the base template generated for you, you may find some items not really your style, or perhaps find them expensive. Either way, you can easily change them without worrying about the technicalities.
For every purchase order, a transaction statement of all your orders up to that point is automatically generated and stored for you. So at every point of the way you're able to see how financially far you've come and how far to go.
The software works by scanning a soft-copy of your building plan and identifying the building elements i.e. walls, windows, doors, roofs e.t.c. (Any missing elements are automatically added). By default a base template of all materials+labor needed is then generated for you. Also generated will be a breakdown of your building costs.
This base template can then customized either by changing the items individually or by importing a mini-template containing a group of materials e.g. a bathroom, kitchen e.t.c. Finally you can place orders to buy the materials from the template.
Templates can be customized, exported, imported and shared. To get the cutest and latest templates, follow us on Instagram (@digysoftware), Youtube(digysoftware) or sign-up to our mailing list below.
You'll need a softcopy of your building plan in a format called "ifc". You should request for this ".ifc" file from your architect.
However in the event that you’re unable to get one from your architect, send an email to digysoftware@gmail.com with attachments of your pdf architectural drawings. You will receive an email in a 2-3 days with the “.ifc” file format done for you, then import it into the program to generate your materials template and cost breakdown.
